Our nature project is called “Zero-Carbon Foods Initiative”. As part of the environmental protection project, we keep arable land, on which we 100% operate natural arable farming. The focus is on the sustainable use of the natural environment. We regularly conduct inspections for friends and school groups. The participants embark on a journey through time to the 19. century, when manual farming was still part of everyday life. The children accompany the individual work steps of potato cultivation, from field preparation to sowing and field care to harvest. Everyone can lend a hand. Then, all our crops are processed exclusively using human power, d.h. Field maintenance is carried out with intensive use of hand tools and muscle power. Every single field crop goes through the hands of our harvest workers, is lovingly packaged and immediately delivered to friends and family. During the quarterly field trips, participants learn how the tides flow, Flora and fauna influence the soil in a natural way, which then produces ecologically fresh crops. So that the crops too 100% can grow naturally, we completely dispense with chemical fertilizers during cultivation, do not use any pesticides or fungicides (Colorado beetles are laboriously collected by hand).
