As part of our environmental protection project “Zero-Carbon Foods Initiative” we keep arable land, on which we 100% operate natural arable farming. The focus is on dealing sustainably with the environment. We completely do without chemical fertilizers during cultivation, do not use any pesticides or fungicides (Colorado beetles are laboriously collected by hand). All arable crops are processed exclusively with the use of human strength. D.h. Field maintenance is carried out with intensive use of hand tools and muscle power. Every single field crop goes through the hands of our harvest workers, is lovingly packaged and immediately delivered to friends and family. We carry out regular inspections, in which the participants embark on a journey through time 19. century, where manual agriculture was still part of normal life. The participants learn about the individual steps involved in growing potatoes, from preparing the fields to sowing and cultivating the fields.
